On behalf of the Organizing and Program committees, I am honoured to welcome you to the Global Meet on Semiconductors, Optoelectronics and Nanostructures (GMSON2024) which takes place from May 13th to 15th, 2024 in Prague, Czech Republic.

The aims and objectives of this unique conference are to offer improved understanding about recent developments and to gain insights into the latest research and technology in the field of semiconductors, optoelectronics and nanostructures throughout the world.

The theme of the conference reflects the willingness and enthusiasm of the organizing committee together with all participants to offer a truly innovative and imaginative program whilst presenting attractive lectures and sessions with well-balanced input from academia, industry and policy makers.

The global meet will provide and ideal forum to stimulate ideas and to establish collaborations as well as to initiate intensive discussions to secure projects for the new generation and to feature a highly interactive stimulating and interdisciplinary program including workshops, plenary sessions, keynote speeches and penal discussions.

In addition to the intellectual pursuits and professional engagements provided by the global meet, I hope you also will have time to meet new friends and to renew friendships and beside all of that you might be able to enjoy the cosmopolitan atmosphere in the wonderful city of Prague during your stay there.

About Prague, Czech Republic

The Czech Republic is a landlocked country in Central Europe. The country is bordered by Poland to the north, Germany to the west, Austria to the south, and Slovakia to the east. Its capital and largest city, with 1.3 million inhabitants, is Prague.

Prague is home to a number of well-known cultural attractions, many of which survived the violence and destruction of 20th-century Europe. The city has more than ten major museums, along with numerous theaters, galleries, cinemas, and other historical exhibits, Prague is Famous for its Well-Preserved Castles, Baroque and Gothic Cathedrals, Medieval Squares, Dreamy Bridges, Nightlife Spots, and lively Arts Scenes.

Some of the Tourist Attractions in Prague are:

Royal Game Reserve Stromovka, Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, Saint Nicholas Church, Pisek Gate, Milunics and Gehrys Dancing House, Franz Kafka Museum, Clam-Gallas Palace.
