Tanriverdi completed her undergraduate, graduate and doctorate education at Atatürk University, and her area of expertise is Public Health Nursing. Tanriverdi, who became a professor in 2017, carries out scientific and social studies in the field of health and nursing focusing on culture and society. Tanriverdi has pioneered many studies in this field in Turkey, has prepared many editorial books, given courses, chaired congresses and symposiums, established associations, developed models, given seminars, conducted dissertations, and planned corporate training. In his original book, Tanrıverdi explained how to develop a culturally competent approach in nursing and organized numerous workshops to improve cultural competence. He has published many books with the support and contributions of his colleagues, which will guide people from different cultures, coming from nearly a hundred different countries, to receive health services without any problems in Turkey. who has been conducting Public Health Nursing and Research courses for nearly 25 years, also
created the conceptual framework of the Interfaith Nursing course, which is included in the curriculum for the first time in nursing in Turkey. Tanriverdi, together with his students, has been working for the society for 30 years.
