Åukasz DoliÅ„ski received an MSc in Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering, in the field of Robotics, from the GdaÅ„sk University of Technology, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Poland, in 2004, and a PhD degree in Technical Sciences, discipline: Automation and Robotics, specialization: Digital signal processing, GdaÅ„sk University of Technology, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Poland, in 2014. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Biomechatronics, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, GdaÅ„sk University of Technology, Poland. His scientific interests include modelling and analysing physical phenomena, especially by the application of the finite element methods and advanced signal processing methods, including wavelet analysis, machine learning or genetic algorithms. He has mainly used these methods to simulate and analyse signals representing rapidly changing physical parameters, such as mechanical vibrations or waves as well as biosignals. His current research focus is on methods for designing and optimising mechanical structures to achieve predetermined physical properties.
