Dr. Raju Kumar Dewry born in 15th January, 1987 in Baksa District of Assam.
Graduation in Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSc & AH) and Masters in Veterinary Science (MVSc) with specialization in Animal Reproduction, Gynaecology and Obstetrics from College of Veterinary Science, Assam Agricultural University, Khanapara, Assam. Then he joined as Research Associate in ICAR Research Complex for North Eastern Hill Region, Umiam, Meghalaya from 2014 to 2017. PhD in Animal Reproduction, Gynaecology and Obstetrics from ICAR-National Dairy Research Institute (Deemed University), Karnal, Haryana-132001, India. His area of research is semen biology, transcriptome analysis of bull semen.
He had published 15 research papers in Peer-Reviewed National and International Journals. Presented oral and poster presentation in National and International Conferences. He is qualified National Eligibility Test, 2015, 2018 and 2019 conducted by Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ICAR), Department of Agricultural Research and Education Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers' Welfare, Government of India, Krishi Anusandhan Bhavan-I, Pusa, New Delhi – 110012 in the discipline of Animal Reproduction & Gynaecology. He is a recipient of National Fellowship under the scheme “National Fellowship and Scholarship for Higher Education of ST Students†to pursue M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree, Government of India, Ministry of Tribal Affairs (Scholarship Division), 412-B, Shastri Bhawan, New Delhi with award number 201718-NFST-ASS-00466.
