DR. Suiliang Huang is Professor in the Numerical Simulation Group for Water Environment, College of Environmental Science and Engineering, Nankai University. Prior to joining Nankai University in 2003, he worked in National Centre for Computational Hydroscience and Engineering, The University of Mississippi as a visiting research scientist, Institu de Mécaniques des Fluids, Université Louis Pasteur de Strasbourg as a Post-Doc., Department of Civil and Structural Engineering, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University as a research associate, institute of Environmental Science, Beijing Normal University as an associate professor and Department of Hydraulic Engineering, Tsinghua University as a Post-doc. His research interests are on the water environmentology and water environment simulation, as well as on the mechanics of sediment transport and sediment-associated pollutants transport-transformation. He has worked on over 20 major research funding contracts as PI from NSF of Tianjin, NSFC, Ministry of Water Conservancy of China, Ministry of Science and Technology of China and other funders. He has published 65 refereed papers in leading ISI-cited journals and more than 150 Chinese papers.

Amir is an Associate Professor of Robotics at the Lincoln Institute of Agri-food Technology, University of Lincoln (UoL), the UK leading the selective harvesting robotic research at Lincoln Agri-Robotics. He holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Mechanical engineering, a Second level Specialisation in Automatic Control Engineering and a PhD in Information Technology-Robotics. Before joining UoL, he was a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Birmingham, UK. Amir is leading the Intelligent Manipulation Lab in which he is working with a group of researchers on 3 main areas of robotic manipulation (I) Agri-food robotic, (ii) waste management robotic and (3) health-related robotic. He organised several workshops at major robotic conferences including IROS 2018 and RSS 2019, IROS2019 and ICRA 2021. He is serving as Associate Editor and Area Chair for IEEE Robotic Automation Letter, ICRA, IROS CORL and AAAI. Title: agrifood robotic: challenges and opportunities Summary: Global warming, growing population, and labour shortage are all risking the future of high-quality food production. This challenges the agri-food production industries. Recent advances in robotic technologies opened a new window to opportunities for employing robots to address some of the challenges of agri-food production industries. Robots bring precision and repetitions to the workspaces. These two pivotal elements can help agri-food industries to reduce the waste and the use of chemicals, fertilizers and pesticides. Moreover, not only robots can increase the resilience of the agri-food production chain, but also they help sustainability by using solar-powered intelligent smaller systems instead of fossil fuel-powered big machines in agri-food workspaces.

Prof. Synan AbuQamar completed his Ph.D. from Purdue University/Department of Botany & Plant Pathology in 2007; did his postdoctoral in the same university. In 2008, he joined UAEU and currently he is a Full Professor there. Synan’s current research interest is Plant Molecular Genetics. His research focuses on understanding the molecular and cellular factors that control plant defense response mechanisms against necrotrophic pathogens using the “model” plant Arabidopsis thaliana as a host plant. He co-authored >85 publications in peer-reviewed journals. Synan won the prestigious Khalifa Award for Education in 2020, and Khalifa International Award for Date Palm and Agricultural Technology 2023. He serves as an Editorial Board member for many prestigious journals, and a member in Scientific Boards of Plant Biotechnology Centers.

Dr. Hagai Cohen obtained his Ph.D. in Plant Molecular Biology in the Faculty of Biology at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, Israel, investigating the regulatory metabolic pathways involved in amino acid biosynthesis in plant seeds. It is then where he started to focus on metabolism in plants. During his Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Weizmann Institute of Science, Israel, he investigated the metabolic pathways leading to the formation of lipophilic barriers in plants such as epicuticular waxes, cutin, suberin and lignin. In early 2020, he opened his independent laboratory as a Principal Investigator in the Department of Vegetable and Field Crops, the Institute of Plant science at the Agricultural Research Organization (ARO, Volcani Center, Israel. His group is interested in elucidating various aspects of interactions between plant surfaces and pathogens, with a particular focus on metabolic networks operating on the course of pathogenic attack and invasion.

Dr. Asha Chaubey is presently working as Principal Scientist and Head of Fermentation Technology Division. She is working in the area of fermentation technology for exploration and exploitation of microorganisms for production of bioactives and novel enzymes for more than 15 years. These include isolation and characterization of microorganisms from unexplored niches of North-Western Himalayas, Shivalik foothills and endophytes. The significant contributions include biotransformation of industrially important molecules, immobilization of enzymes for enantioselectivity improvement, production of industrially important biopharpaceuticals and published her work in best journals of the field During the doctoral research; she has significantly contributed towards the development of biosensors for health care and generated good quality publications and patents. Presently, she has been actively involved in developing fermentation processes for production of biopharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, therapeutic enzymes and enzymes/products for agriculture applications.

During the time at Oregon State University Dave worked on a cross flow counter current scrubber for coal fired power plants. Additionally took masters level classes on statistics. Then he moved to Hillsboro with his wife and worked in Semiconductors. In 2007 Dave along with Dr. Tom Wallow produced a paper on ARF double patterning for semiconductors. This multi-pattering scheme is widely used in today’s semiconductor manufacturing plants. In 2011 Dave started a consulting business for Semiconductors. In 2017 Dave Started Climate Change Truth Research Inc. Dave is seeking the truth about climate change. His research interests are evaporation from the ocean, rain forest destruction effects and diffusion of CO2 through the atmosphere.

Professor Wen Liu was born in 1960 and obtained his Bachelor Degree in 1983 and his Ph.D. in 1989 from the University of Science & Technology China (USTC). He is also a post doctorate Fellow of McMaster University, Canada. From 1992-1998, he was the Chief Technology Officer of the Institute of Solid Devices, Ministry of Post and Telecommunications, China. He worked for Nortel Networks Inc. Canada in 1998~2002, obtaining a President Award of Nortel in 2000. From 2003-2011 he served as the Chief Technology Officer of Accelink Technology Inc., which has been the No. 1 Telecommunication Optoelectronic devices company in China, and Top 6 in the world currently. In 2005, he became a part-time professor and doctorate tutor of the Ministry of Education, China, and awarded as a "Chang Jiang Distinguished Professor". He holds 10 patents authorized by the USA and more than 60 Chinese patents. Wen Liu was transferred to the Department of Optics of USTC in July 2013. In 2015 Professor Wen Liu proposed the application of optical interference technique to the solar spectrum required for precise separation of light for crop growth, with the remaining light being used for photovoltaic power generation. This solved the contradiction between simultaneous photovoltaic power generation and the light demand for crops on the same land. The project won the United States R&D 100 award in 2017. His Research Areas include Agrivolatic; Optical Engineering; LED lighting for Plant; Nano optical materials and devices; and Devices for Optical fibre communication.

Prof. Muhammad Irfan currently works at the School of Management and Economics, Beijing Institute of Technology. He is currently serving as an Associate Editor in Frontiers in Public Health. Dr. Ravishankar Narayana is an experienced Biologist with a demonstrated history of working in the area of agriculture research and development. He received the B.Sc. Agriculture (2003) and M.Sc. degree in Plant Pathology (2005) from the University of Agricultural Sciences, India and a Ph.D. degree in Plant Biology from the University of Torino, Italy, in 2011. Strong research professional skilled in multiple scientific disciplines, including pathology, entomology, molecular and microbiology, genetics, agronomy, and horticulture, as well as in quality control lab protocols, food production compliance and ornamental crop production. He secured third Rank in Postgraduate Diploma (Plant Protection) program at National Plant Protection Training Institute, India. He moved to Canada to work as Postdoctoral Scholar under Dr. Claudio Stasolla, University of Manitoba and then to Penn State University, USA. At Penn State, Ravishankar supported cutting edge research projects in collaboration with organizations such as the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture, Tanzania, Africa, and FAO. He also worked as a Biological Scientist at the Citrus Research and Education Centre, University of Florida, USA. He is currently working as Research and Development Manager at Fernlea Flowers Ltd, Florida, USA coordinating research in Florida, California and Ontario, Canada. His research interests include plant-pathogen/insect/environment interaction, transcription, and signal transduction, digital agriculture, integrated pest management. Dr.ghaith ziarh have been engaged in hydrology research since 2018. My research interests include climate change, water resources management, multicriteria decision analysis in hydrology, vulnerability and risk assessment and hydrological hazards. The major aim of my climate change-related research is to assess the implications of ongoing changes in climate on agriculture, water and other sectors. ghaith ziarh extensively use different parametric and non-parametric statistical methods to analyze changes in different hydro-climatic variables, including rainfall, temperature, humidity, aridity, evapotranspiration, groundwater level, and river flow I also use different statistical techniques to determine the year of change and analysis of time-varying trends to describe the physical cause of climatic changes. Climate-related disasters are also of my research interest. My major aim in disaster-related research is to use remote sensing data for real-time monitoring of disaster vulnerability. Experimenting with different MCDA methods in decision-making is my other research interest. ghaith ziarh tried to hybrid different existing methods to develop a strong MCDA.

Dr. Ruchi Singh Parihar is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at IBS, Center for Climate Physics, Busan, South Korea. Giuseppe Guida, Phd in Territorial and Urban Planning, is researcher and assistant professor ad Department of Architecture and Industrial Design of University of Campania, Italy, where he leads the Planning Laboratory. His research activities are mostly focused on metropolitan areas, periurban and landscape urbanism. Dr Qunying Luo has a PhD in Agroclimatology. She has a background in climate impact and adaptation research in economically important cropping industries such as wheat, cotton, and rice. She secured a series of national competitive research projects from various funding sources such as Australian Research Council, Australian Cotton Research and Development Corporation, and Australian Grains Research and Development Corporation. She authored 48 research papers in prestigious international journals such as Global C hange Biology as a lead author in 63% of her publications. Dr Luo has a high level of skills and capacity in agricultural production system modelling (crop model validation, calibration, modification and application); use and application of general circulation model (GCM)-based climate information at seasonal and multi-decadal lead times and statistical-based seasonal climate forecast information in agricultural risk analysis and management; the coupling techniques between climate models and crop models (e.g. spatial and temporal downscaling, bias correction and construction of robust climate scenarios); spatial and statistical modelling/analysis; programming; and use of a range of computing software. She is applying her expertise to crop insurance through developing blockchain-based parametric insurance products including weather-based single peril and crop yield-based multiperil crop insurance products to protect global farmers against extreme weather events at Hillridge Technology Pty Ltd.

Dr. Abraham Kabutey is an Associate Professor of Technique and Mechanization in Agriculture at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Czech University of Life Sciences Prague, Prague, Czech Republic. Dr Kabutey’s research is primarily focused on the mechanical and rheological properties of agricultural materials and products (edible and non-edible oil extraction, drying kinetics, biomass densification, process optimization, modelling and energy analysis) intended for designing and developing an energy-efficient processing system. Dr Kabutey has a keen interest in global energy efficiency strategies (renewable energy sources) against climate change mitigation. Dr Kabutey has published considerable scientific publications indexed in both Scopus and Web of Science with H-index of 10 (without self-citations).

Phoebe Koundouri, is a world-renowned environmental economics professor and global leader in sustainable development. She is widely recognized as a pioneer in innovative, human-centric, interdisciplinary systems for the sustainable interaction between nature, society, and the economy. She is listed in the most-cited women economists in the world, included within the official Stanford University list of the Top 2 % of world scientists, with 15 published books and more than 500 published peer reviewed scientific articles, book chapters, research and policy reports. She is elected member of the World Academy of Art & Science, President of the European Association of Environmental and Natural Resource Economists and she has received numerous international awards for academic excellence, including the prestigious European Research Council Synergy Grant (2020). Qi Wang is a professor at the College of Grassland Science, Gansu Agricultural University, China. He has published more than 60 research articles in high impact factor journals and three national patents. He wrote a book named Supervision of Turf Engineering, China Forestry Publishing House, Beijing, China. He undertook four funded projects from the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He obtained his PhD at the Cold and Arid Regions Environmental and Engineering Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He studied for his master’s at Agronomy College, Gansu Agricultural University, and for his bachelor’s degree at College of Water Conservancy and Hydropower Engineering, Gansu Agricultural University. Femi Temitope Johnson is a graduate of Computer Science from the Federal University of Agriculture, (FUNAAB), Abeokuta, Nigeria. He has several years of research experience in the field of Artificial Intelligence, Machine learning, and Robotics and has channeled most of his research towards developing computational models and digital systems in agricultural related domains with the aim of providing solutions at national and international spheres. My name is Dr. Mohammad Shah Alam, and I started working at the Ministry of Agriculture in the People's Republic of Bangladesh's Agricultural Extension Department in November 2008 as an Agricultural Extension Officer. As of 2014, I had been promoted to Sub-district Agriculture Officer, and I am currently working in the same Ministry. I've accomplished a number of national and international trainings in sophisticated agricultural techniques that have aided me ingaining an advantage over farmers and employees in terms of expertise. I educated the personnel,businesspeople, and farmers under my expertise about intensive modern agriculture approaches, which increased agricultural productivity and brought about financial gains. I graduated from the Bangladesh Agricultural University with a B.Sc. in Agriculture and a Master's in Entomology. My Ph.D. in Crop Cultivation and Farming Systems (Crop Genetics) was recently awarded to me by Zhejiang University in China. Using CRISPR/Cas9 technology, I investigated the roles of three rice basic helix loop helix transcription factors such as OsbHLH024, OsbHLH044, and OsbHLH055 in rice and published two articles, OsbHLH024 and OsbHLH044. It is now being prepared to publish OsbHLH055. In addition, I collaborated as a co-author with my colleagues at Zhejiang University on several other genes, including OsDML4, OsLHY, and OsBadh2, that were knocked out using CRISPR/Cas9 and then studied to determine their function; these articles were published in quality journals. Moreover, as a co-author of a study, I have found that calcium can significantly reduce the toxicity of arsenic to young barley plants, primarily due to its positive impact on nutrient uptake and this article has published recently in Environmental Pollution journal. I have been reviewing articles from journals like Functional Plant Biology. By using genome editing and gene overexpression to determine genes' activities, I hope to increase plant phenotypic, grain quality, and biotic and abiotic stress resistance in crops. Consequently, determining the roles played by genes in regulating transcription factors, the relationships between genes, the physiological, biochemical, and molecular effects of stress, crop yield, plant phenotype, and grain quality are all of my areas of interest in research.

Dr Prashant Singh is currently working as an Assistant Professor in Department of Botany at Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi. Dr. Singh has a strong background in plant physiology, molecular biology, seed dormancy, and plant molecular pathology. He was well trained in world-leading research labs in UK, USA and Taiwan. Dr. Singh has been recipient of several prestigious research awards, including Overseas Research Award (ORS), UK, USDA-NIFA, USA-NSF, BBSRC-UK and Taiwan- NSC Postdoctoral fellowship award. Dr. Singh has been published number of peer-reviewed research article in high impact journals. His research paper was classified by the Plant Cell in the top five papers and included in the Nature Index. Dr. Singh has also secured a US patent for his research work. Dr. Singh is also a member of the Principal Scientific Advisor (PSA) Advisory Group to the Office of Prime Ministers (PMO), Govt. of India (GoI) to advise the Govt of India on various science and social policy issues. Recently he has also been elected as a Fellow of Linnaean Society (FLS), London. I (Dr. Harpal Singh Randhawa) working as Principal Entomologist at Punjab Agricultural University Regional Research Station Gurdaspur. I have completed my B Sc Agriculture (Hons.), M Sc Agriculture (Entomology) and Ph D Agriculture (Entomology) from Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana during year 1988, 1991 and 2005 (in-service), respectively. I have identified new insect-pests i.e. litchi nut borer (Blastobasis huemeri), litchi leaf roller (Statherotis leucaspis), leaf beetle (Rhynchaenus magniferae) of mango & litchi, pigeonpea pod borer (Maruca vitrata), berseem gram caterpillar (Helicoverpa armigera), sugarcane white grub (Holotrichia consanguinea), toon shoot borer (Hypsipyla grandella), amaltas leaf roller (Nephopteryx eugraphella), red pumpkin beetle (Aulacophora foveicolli) of rajmah, litchi mite (Aceria litchi), litchi bug (Tessaratoma javanica) and studied their life history to find weak link for effective control measures. Therefore, suitable control measures have been developed for different insect-pests of different crops; those have improved the quantity and quality of produce and increased the farm income of farmers. I got adhoc projects viz. Development of Biocontrol Laboratory for control of insect-pests (fruits and vegetables) & Plant Health Clinic, Development of Photo-thermo insensitive and yellow mosaic resistant lines in mungbean and urdbean and Bio Safety Research Level-1 Trials on transgenic maize hybrids with stacked event of TC 1507 × MON 810 from National Horticulture Mission Punjab, Indian Council of Agricultural Research New Delhi and Monsanto Company (American Agrochemical and Agricultural Biotechnology Corporation) Missouri, respectively. In spite of these I have also developed 53 recommendations for pest management, crop varieties (rice, sugarcane and pigeonpea) and published 91 research papers in reputed Journals. The bioagents for pest-management were also multiplied in biocontrol laboratory and released in farmers’ fields to reduce insecticidal load in crop production and environmental contamination. As Farm Incharge (additional duty) facilitated production of improved seeds of different crops to generate income for university and provide quality seed to farmers. Production & distribution of quality seed of different crops helped the farmers to harness higher yields. I got the opportunity to teach different courses like Zoology, Biology, Entomology and Pathology to students of Diploma in Agriculture, Certificate Course in Agriculture, B Sc Agri. (Hons.), Diploma in Agrochemicals and guided one M Sc (Entomology) student as major advisor. I also published 267 articles in farm magazines/News Papers and delivered 275 lectures & 27 Radio/TV Talks in the Agricultural Camps/Farmers Fairs/All India Radio/Doordarshan Kenrdra to popularize PAU technologies. I have also reviewed 59 research manuscripts as major referee for publication in different reputed journals. I have been helped to generate income rupees five crore and four lac for PAU through submission of projects, sale of seed and bioagents. I have been awarded with Merit Scholarship from Punjab School Education Board in higher secondary class, Life Time Golden Achievement Award from Bharat Rattan Publishing House, New Delhi and PARMAN PATRA for doing best service in Agriculture Field on Republic Day 2021. I have received certificates of excellence for review of research manuscripts from Journal of Experimental Agriculture International, Indian Journal of Entomology, International Journal of Agriculture Sciences, Asian Plant Research Journal and Asian Journal of Agricultural and Horticultural Research, International journal Plant and Science, Journal of Agriculture and Ecology Research International, Acta Scientific Agriculture. Dr. Md. Shahariar Jaman is an ecosystem ecologist involved in explaining Global Change Ecology. Heis currently serving as an Associate Professor, Dept. of Agroforestry and Environmental Science, Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Bangladesh.He completed his Ph.D.from the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences focusing extreme drought effect on Carbon dynamics in grassland ecosystems. His research work has been published in different peer-reviewed journals such as Plant and Soil, Agriculture Ecosystems & Environment, Journal of Ecology, Arboricultural Journal, etc. Dr. Jaman’sresearch groupis currently engaged interrestrial ecosystem research mainly on carbon storage dynamics, biodiversity, species richness, and plant-soil-carbon interaction because they have the largest influence on what happens in ecosystems.

Dr. Sushil Kumar born on January 16th, 1958, obtained B.Sc.(Ag.) and M.Sc. (Ag.) degrees from University of Udaipur and joined Rajasthan Agricultural University as Research Associate in 1982 and later joined Gujarat Agricultural University as Assistant Professor in 1988 and Associate Professor in Navsari Agricultural University in 2006. He served in ICAR Projects (GOI) (AICRP Sub-tropical Fruits, Tropical Fruits and NICRA) for 18 years. He has served as Professor and Head Entomology and Plant Protection in the Faculty of Horticulture and Forestry of Navsari Agricultural University, Navsari, Gujarat for more than 10 years. His total teaching, research and extension experience is of more than 36 years. He has two Ph.D. degrees viz; in Agricultural Entomology as well as in Forest Entomology from Navsari Agricultural University and Forest Research Institute, Dehradun, respectively to his credit. He has also passed MBA degree from Pondicherry University. He has passed 19 e-courses (certificate awarded by IIT Kanpur and Commonwealth of Learning British Columbia), published 255 research papers, books, chapters, booklets, articles, and Technical bulletins and is a Life member of many scientific bodies. He has chaired many International and National seminars, symposia and webinars and contributed significantly to Horticultural Entomology and research on mango in particular spanning over three decades with emphasis on ecological studies, IPM module, pest forecasting models as well as pest map and pest calendar. In Forest Entomology, he identified major insect-pests of important tree species viz; teak (Tectona grandis), Hed (Haldina cordifolia), Sisham (Dalbergia sissoo), Rosewood (D. tomentosa), Arjun (Terminalia arjuna), Arjun Sadad (T. tomentosa), bamboo, Mahuva (Madhuca sativa) and Eucalyptus and their natural enemies in Gujarat. He released 23 technologies for the farming and scientific communities and was also associated with release of mango hybrid “SONPARI”. He is a recipient of eight awards (national level) including prestigious Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Award instituted by IRDP, Chennai. He handled the first ATMA Project of Valsad district (Gujarat) as Project Director (2005-2007), 10 projects as Principal Investigator, Nodal Officer and ICAR sponsored Winter School as Course Director. He is a member of editorial boards of several journals. He has guided 13 scholars in Agricultural Entomology and 6 in Forest Entomology. He also organized the first ever National Symposium of Pests and Diseases at NAU; Navsari.
