Vytenis Povilas Andriukaitis is WHO Special Envoy for the European Region, and the former European Commisioner for Health and Food Safety. V.P. Andriukaitis was born on 9th August 1951 in Kyusyur, Siberia, in the family of decedents of Soviet regime. His parents were deported in 1941 and he returned to Lithuania in 1957. Vytenis Andriukaitis started political activities in anti-Soviet movements in early 1969. He is co-author and a signatory of the Independence Act of Lithuania (March 1990), also one of the co-authors of the Constitution of the Republic of Lithuania adopted in 1992. V. Andriukaitis is one of the founders of the Lithuanian Social Democratic Party and later on Chairman of the party (1999-2001), currently having the position of honorable chairman of LSDP. Member of the Lithuanian Parliament for six terms, from 1990 to 2004 and from 2008 to 2012. During that time he served as a Chairman of the Committee on European Affairs, including during the accession to the EU in 2004; as a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee; as a Deputy Speaker of the Parliament (2001- 2004). The same years he served as the Head of the Lithuanian Delegation to the European Convention. From 2012 to 2014 Vytenis Andriukaitis was a Minister for Health in the Lithuanian Government. From 2014 to 2019 he served as European Commissioner for Health and Food Safety. From 2020 - Special Envoy of the WHO for Universal Health Coverage for the European region and Member of the Political Advisory Panel of the UHC 2030 Movement. V.P. Andriukaitis is an author of multiple articles and books, more than 140 legislative proposals and amendments on national and the EU level; among them Amendments to European Treaties.

Mustafa Younis is an internationally recognized scholar & tenured professor at Jackson State University, Mississippi, USA. Dr. Younis served as a member of the Executive Committee of the International Society for Research of Healthcare Financial Management. Dr. Younis has authored and published over 200 articles, abstracts and presentations in refereed journals and meetings, and has presented at national and international conferences. Professor Sorush Niknamian holds Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Biology, B.Sc. in Mechatronics Engineering, B.Sc. in Applied Mathematics, He is a CSci (Chartered Scientist), RSciTech (Registered Science Technician), RSci (Registered Scientist) and Science Council, United Kingdom and Indiana Cancer Consortium (ICC) certified. He has been published 27 books in medical and biological sciences including Medicine, Nutrition, Cancer Prevention and Treatment. He has published 30 research articles in international high impact journals in many fields of medicine. He is the Board member of Weston A. Price Foundation in Washington, United States, Member of American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), Ambassador of European Association for Cancer Research (EACR), Member of Federal Health Professionals in the United States Marine Forces, Army Forces and Military Medicine. . He is a Registered Researcher in the U.S. Government's System for Award Management, Registered Scientist at National Center for Biotechnology Information. He has studied Military Medicine at Liberty University (LU), Lynchburg, VA, United States of America.

Prof. Gerardo Guillen, Ph.D., is the Director of Biomedical Research at the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (CIGB) in Havana. He is member of the Cuban Academy of Science .He is a Senior Researcher since 2001, Senior Academician of the Cuban Academy of Sciences since 2012, Full Professor from the University of Havana and Distinguished Professor of the University of Electronic Sciences and Technology of China, Chengdu, Sichuan, China, since 2018. Since 1998 he has been Director of Biomedical Research at CIGB. He has participated in more than 200 scientific congresses and international workshops with the presentation of more than 300 papers and more than 50 conferences. He is the author or co-author of more than 200 publications in international journals and more than 50 patents. He is Secretary of the CIGB Scientific Council. He is a member of numerous courts, academic arbitration committees, scientific advisor, organizing committees, lecturer and expert in different countries, international events and biotech companies.

Dr. Carmina Gallardo born in Toledo, Spain, obtained a Ph.D. degree in Molecular Biology in 2003 in the Science Faculty (UAM, Madrid, Spain) with the Thesis titled “Development of new serological and molecular diagnosis methods of African swine fever” developed at the Animal Health Research Center (CISA), belonging to the National Institute of Agricultural and Food Research and Technology (INIA), in Madrid, Spain. Since 2003 up to 2009 she was working at the International Research Livestock Institute (ILRI) in Nairobi (Kenya) in collaboration with INIA-CISA, on the epidemiology of ASF in East Africa. Since 2009 she has been the Laboratory Coordinator at INIA-CISA of the European Union reference laboratory (EURL) for ASF and for the FAO reference centre since 2011. Her main expertise is in R&D on ASF, mainly related to the development of new diagnostic tools, molecular epidemiology and/or control strategies, including vaccine development. Throughout her career, Dr. Gallardo has been concerned in over thirty national and EC-funded R&D projects and agreements for scientific and technical cooperation with national and international institutions and companies. As a result of these collaborations, has produced more than 260 scientific and technical publications and 217 presentations at international congresses, conferences, and meetings.
