Dr. Panos Pardalos is a Distinguished Professor in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Florida, and an affiliated faculty of Biomedical Engineering and Computer Science & Information & Engineering departments. In addition, he is the director of the Center for Applied Optimization. Dr. Pardalos is a world renowned leader in Global Optimization, Mathematical Modeling, Energy Systems, and Data Sciences. He is a Fellow of AAAS, AIMBE, and INFORMS and was awarded the 2013 Constantin Caratheodory Prize of the International Society of Global Optimization. In addition, Dr. Pardalos has been awarded the 2013 EURO Gold Medal prize bestowed by the Association for European Operational Research Societies. This medal is the preeminent European award given to Operations Research (OR) professionals for “scientific contributions that stand the test of time.” Dr. Pardalos has been awarded a prestigious Humboldt Research Award (2018-2019). The Humboldt Research Award is granted in recognition of a researcher’s entire achievements to date – fundamental discoveries, new theories, insights that have had significant impact on their discipline. Dr. Pardalos is also a Member of several Academies of Sciences, and he holds several honorary PhD degrees and affiliations. He is the Founding Editor of Optimization Letters, Energy Systems, and Co-Founder of the International Journal of Global Optimization, Computational Management Science, and Springer Nature Operations Research Forum. Professor Yusuke Yamauchi specialises in the design of functional nanospaces in inorganic materials with controlled compositions and morphologies toward practical applications. Professor Yamauchi focuses on the design of novel nanocrystals and nanoporous materials toward various applications including batteries, fuel cells, solar cells, chemical sensors, field emitters, and photonic devices. Specifically, nanoporous metals can be produced through surfactant-based synthesis assisted by electrochemical methods. Owing to their metallic frameworks, nanoporous metals possess high electroconductivity and high surface areas, holding promise for a wide range of electrochemical applications. Furthermore, he has developed several approaches towards controlling the orientation of tubular nanochannels. The controlling the geometry of nanochannels at a macroscopic-scale is important for innovative applications such as chemical devices and electrodes with enhanced diffusions of guest species. Professor Yusuke Yamauchi received his Bachelor degree (2003), Master degree (2004), and Ph.D. (2007) from the Waseda University, Japan. After receiving his Ph.D., he joined the National Institute of Materials Science (NIMS), Japan, to start his own research group. At the same time, he started to serve as a professor to supervise PhD students at Waseda University. He led a team of more than 40 members including senior scientists, postdocs, technical staffs, and PhD students. After being granted the ARC Future Fellowship, in May 2016, he joined the Institute for Superconducting & Electronic Materials (ISEM), Australian Institute for Innovative Materials (AIIM), The University of Wollongong (UOW) as a full professor. In 2017, he moved to The University of Queensland (UQ). Presently, he is a senior group leader at AIBN and a full professor at School of Chemical Engineering. He concurrently serves as an honorary group leader at NIMS, a visiting/adjunct/honorary professor at over 50 universities in the world (UOW, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Tianjin University, NanJing Tech University, Qingdao University of Science and Technology, Kyung Hee University, National Taiwan University, King Saud University, King Abdulaziz University, and Waseda University, etc), and an associate editor of the Journal of Materials Chemistry A published by the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC). He has published more than 750 papers in international refereed journals with > 35,000 citations (h-index > 100). He is selected as one of the Highly-Cited Researchers in Chemistry in 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019. He has received many outstanding awards, such as the NISTEP Award by National Institute of Science and Technology Policy (2016), the Chemical Society of Japan (CSJ) Award for Young Chemists (2014), the Young Scientists' Prize of the Commendation for Science and Technology by MEXT (2013), the PCCP Prize by the Royal Society of Chemistry (2013), the Tsukuba Encouragement Prize (2012), the Ceramic Society of Japan (CerSJ) Award (2010), and the Inoue Research Award for Young Scientists (2010). Marimuthu Palaniswami is a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (IEEE) and an internationally recognised expert in Internet of Things (IoT), Sensor Networks, Automated Learning, and Computational Intelligence in large-scale complex systems. He is a named Distinguished Lecturer of the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society over the period 2013-2015. He obtained his Ph.D from the University of Newcastle, Australia and is currently the Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. He has a demonstrated track record in leading large research initiatives. In particular, he has been the Founder and Director of the ARC Research Network on Intelligent Sensors, Sensor Networks and Information Processing (ISSNIP), which has become an internationally recognised constellation of researchers, partner universities and industry organisations in the area of sensor networks. He has built many large-scale projects by bringing together teams of chief investigators in related areas such as the Distributed Sensor Networks Project funded by former Department of Education, Science and Technology (DEST), the Smart Environmental Monitoring and Analysis Technologies(SEMAT) project of the Queensland government’s Smart State Program and Integrated Marine Observing System (IMOS)- Great Barrier Reef Ocean Observing System (GBROOS) for the Great Barrier Reef. He was the co-director of the Centre of Excellence for Networked Decision Systems (CENDS) funded by the Defence Science and Technology Organisation. He is also a co-founder of the European Centred IoT forum. He served as a general Chair for over 10 IEEE Sponsored International conferences with a focus on Sensor Networks and Internet of Things (IoT). As a Chief Investigator, he was funded by various government agencies for a number of IoT projects covering Infrastructure, Smart City, Healthcare, Transport, BigData Analytics and Smart Governance. His international IoT funding for smart city covers projects such as European Union’s FP7 Smart Santander, SocioTal, and OrganiCity. His research has also focused on translational aspects of his research and he has a fantastic track record in working with diverse industry sectors – from defence to environment, from telecom to biomedical and from health to local government domains. His extensive publication and citation record is a clear testament to his technical leadership spanning Internet flow control, cloud computing, computational tools for analytics, image processing, sensor network architectures, sensor data fusion, autonomous tracking, sensor network security and control engineering. He has published well over 400 scientific papers including books and edited volumes in related topics in IEEE Transactions on IoT Journal, Cybernetics, Fuzzy Systems, Neural Networks, Power Systems, Communications Magazine, Computational Intelligence Magazine, Information and Forensic Society, Mobile Computing, Automatica Control; ACM Transactions on Sensor Networks; Pattern Recognition, Computer Vision and Image Understanding (CVIU); Automatica; IEEE Journal of Biomedical and Health Informatics (JBHI), PLoS ONE, Frontiers in Physiology, Medical and Biological Engineering and Computing, and others. He has been recognised and awarded (in 2007, 2008 and 2010) for his substantial knowledge transfer to industry and the community. Many of these knowledge transfers were using deployable technologies for research outcomes, e.g. DIISR-ISL Project on Distributed Sensor Networks. His research continues to deliver in Healthcare (e.g. CSIRO and Microsoft Research Diagnostic tools project) and on the environment (e.g. Great Barrier Reef monitoring) which is testimony to the capacity of his research in providing benefits to society. He served as a member of the US NSF proposals panel, steering committee member for EU IoT projects and advisory panel member for Centre of Excellence on IoT projects. He has contributed immensely to creating IoT startups, keen to push the impact of IoT further on industry and society.

Dr. Wee is an Adjunct Chair Professor in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering. He has received his B.S. degree (honors) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Strathclyde University (UK), M. Eng. from Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), and Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from Cleveland State University, Ohio (USA). He has received an excellent research award from the Ministry of Science & Technology, excellent life researcher award and the Medal for Distinguished Industrial Engineer Award. He has published more than 500 papers in refereed journals, international conferences and book chapters, of which, more than 300 papers are SCI & SSCI index, and most of his papers are published in top 15% journals. His papers were cited over 6960 (10,651) times in Scopus (Google scholar) with h-index: 48 (55). He has co-edited seven books and holds two patents; was keynote speaker in a number of international conferences, Senior Member for Asian Council of Science Editors (ACSE), Board of Directors for International Engineering and Technology Institute (IETI), Chairman of the International Taiwan Navigators board and Guest and associate Editor/editorial board member for a number of international journals. His research interests are in the field of production/inventory control, optimization, logistics, renewable energy, environment, artificial intelligence and green supply chain management. Professor Dr. Hui-Ming Wee is ranked among the top 2.5% of world-wide ResearchGate members in the world. He has received Lifetime Achievement Award from the Association of Inventory Academicians and Practitioners, 2018, World Class Professor Award from the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education (Indonesia), 2019, Distinguished Educator Award from the International Society of Industrial Engineering and Operations Management, 2018, and 3 times Excellent Researcher Award, Taiwan. Dr. Zilla Sinuany-Stern is Prof. E. in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management (IEM) at Ben-Gurion University (BGU) of the Negev, Beer-Sheva, Israel (starting in 1978). She held the Chair of Sir John and Lady Cohen on Business and Industrial Management. She earned her Ph.D. in Operations Research (OR) from Case Western Reserve University, in Cleveland, Ohio, USA, and BA & MA in Economics and Statistics from Tel Aviv University. Her areas of research are: OR and IE theory and application, more specifically: resource allocation, efficiency analysis (DEA), logistics, decision analyses, production planning, forecasting, simulation, multi objective optimization, quality assurance, reliability, and maintenance. She was the head of the IEM department at BGU during the 1990s. During 2000-2008 she was the Vice President of Academic Affairs (Rector) of Ariel University. She was Vice president 1 of EURO 2000-2004, and President of the OR Society of Israel (ORSIS) 1996-2000, and VP 1992-1996. During 2012-2017 she was a member of the Council for Higher Education in Israel, and chaired the Committee of Quality Assurance there. She was Guest Editor in EJOR and Annals of OR. Since 1993 she is a member of the international advisory board of the Journal of Operational Research Society (JORS). In 2010 she won the ORSIS Prize for excellent paper (with Alper). She authored and co-authored over 170 publications, of which over 100 papers are in refereed journals in OR and IE. Dr. Kun Zhou is an associate professor in the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. He received his B.Eng. and M. Eng. degrees from Tsinghua University in 1998 and 2001, respectively, China and his Ph.D. from NTU in 2006. His research interests include additive manufacturing, mechanics of materials, and modelling and design for sustainable materials. He is Programme Director of Marine and Offshore in Singapore Centre for 3D Printing. He has published over 360 papers in refereed journals and over 20 book chapters. He serves as Editor-in-Chief of Smart Manufacturing, Co-Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Micromechanics and Molecular Physics, and an associate editor or editorial board member of eight international journals including Virtual and Physical Prototyping and International Journal of Fatigue.

Sri Talluri earned the B. S. degree in mechanical engineering in India in 1989, the M. S. degree in industrial and manufacturing systems engineering and the Ph. D. degree in production and operations management from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1992 and 1996, respectively. He is the Hoagland-Metzler Endowed Professor and Professor of Operations and Supply Chain Management at Michigan State University. His research interests are in the areas of supply risk, buyer-supplier relationships and supply contracts, sustainability in supply chains, technology management, and performance evaluation. Sri's methodological expertise lies in the areas of optimization methods (deterministic and stochastic models), game theory, empirical methods (statistical models), and data envelopment analysis. He has more than 100 journal publications in a variety of top-tier academic journals including the IIE Transactions, Decision Sciences, Production and Operations Management Journal, Journal of Operations Management, International Journal of Production Research, European Journal of Operational Research, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, and has presented papers in various national and international conferences. Sri has over 11,000 citations of his work and an h-index of 48. Dr. Talluri was designated as a Fellow of the Decision Sciences Institute (DSI) in 2019. He is one of the 116 fellows of DSI over the 50-year rich history of the organization. Sri was also a Fulbright Distinguished Chair in Business and Economics for the year 2016-2017, and currently holds the position of Honorary Professorial Fellow at the University of Melbourne, Australia. He was the recipient of the Dean's Research Excellence Award in 2019, and John D. and Dortha J. Withrow Endowed Emerging Scholar Award for outstanding scholarly contributions in 2004. Sri currently serves as the Co-Editor in Chief of the Decision Sciences Journal. He was the past Department Editor at the IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management and a member of various editorial boards at top-tier journals. He served as the Conference Chair for the 47th Annual Decision Sciences Institute Conference, Track Chair for Supply Chain Management at the 14th and 16th Annual Production and Operations Management Conferences, and the Track Chair for Sourcing Management for the 18th Annual POMS Conference. In addition, he was the Associate Executive Director for POMS from 2006-2009. Professor Talluri has more than 20 years of teaching experience and has taught a variety of graduate and undergraduate courses in the areas of supply chain management, operations management, operations research/management science, and statistics.

Fei Tao is currently a Professor at the School of Automation Science and Electrical Engineering, Beihang University (BUAA), Beijing, China. His current research interests are digital twin driven product design/manufacturing and service, and smart manufacturing service. In these fields, he has authored 4 monographs as the first author and published over 70 papers in Nature, CIRP Annals and IEEE/ASME Transactions, of which 25 have ESI high cited papers, and his publication has over 18897 citations in Google Scholar. Prof. Tao is a Global Highly Cited Researcher in 2019 and 2020. He is currently the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Service and Computing-Oriented Manufacturing (IJSCOM), the Associate Editor of Robotic and Computer Integrated Manufacturing (RCIM). He is also a CIRP Associate Member and IEEE Senior Member.

Robert Župan was born on October 21, 1973, in Zagreb. He is a collaborator on HRZZ and EU projects such as the LABIRINT, HIDROLAB and GEMINI. He is the leader of projects funded by scientific research grants of the University of Zagreb at the Faculty of Geodesy since 2013. He works daily with undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate students and helps them with their assessment work. As a guest lecturer on several occasions, he was a guest at the Universities of TU Munich, UBT Pristina and in May 2019 at the School of Marine Science and Technology, Tianjin University, China. He has published independently and co-authored numerous papers and maps. He is a member of the Croatian Geodetic Society, the Croatian Cartographic Society, and the International Cartographic Society (ICA). He was a member of the Supervisory Board of the Croatian Cartographic Society, and today he is the vice-president of the Croatian Cartographic Society. He has been the head of the Department of Cartography at the Faculty of Geodesy, and since 2012 he has been the deputy editor-in-chief of the scientific journal Geodetski list, and a member of the editorial board of the foreign journal AJET. He is the co-author of the university textbook Geovisualization (Manualia Universitatis Studiorum Zagrabiensis) published in 2021. He was vice dean for finance and business at the Faculty of Geodesy from 2015 to 2019. He is fluent in English. He is married and the father of one child.

Prof. Sudan Jha is a Senior IEEE member; working as a Professor and RAC member at the School of Computational Sciences, Christ (Deemed to be University) Delhi, India. He is also a Principal Scientist in the NAAMI in the Himalayan country Nepal. Presently, he is He received his first Ph.D. degree in 2015 (second is under progress); received his graduation/post-graduation in engineering from MNREC (Motilal Nehru Regional Engineering College), Allahabad, India in 2001. He has around 75 accepted and published research papers and book chapters in reputed SCI, SCIE, ESCI, and SCOPUS indexed journals, conferences. Dr Melita Menelaou is a Chemical Engineer, PhD educated. She received her Diploma (5-year Bsc) in 2004 and her PhD in 2009 from the School of Chemical Engineering in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. Dr Menelaou enhanced her scientific knowledge and expertise as a member of respected research groups in Japan – Advanced Institute of Materials Research (WPI-AIMR), Tohoku University, Czechia – Central European Institute of Technology-Brno University of Technology (CEITEC-BUT), Spain – University of Barcelona, and Greece – School of Chemical Engineering, and School of Chemistry, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh). Currently, she is working at the Department of Chemical Engineering at the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT) in Cyprus. Her research interests include the synthesis and characterization of advanced materials. Dr Menelaou gained working experience with different types of materials (superconductors, aerogels, ceramics, nanoparticles), employing state of the art chemical/physical techniques (sol-gel, supercritical drying, coating, evaporation, ...) and discovering principles (quantum spin liquid). In 2017 (Japan), her research work was published in Nature Chemistry (Vol 9, 635–643) for experimentally determining, for the first time, an example of the rare quantum spin liquid (QSL). The work was also highlighted as a Nature Chemistry News & Views commentary and featured on significant scientific websites, such as EurekAlert! and Nanowerk. In 2018, she received the Seal of Excellence from the European Commission for performing high-quality research on the demanding topic of the rare-earth zirconates and their potential use as thermal barrier coatings in the Aerospace and Automotive Industry.

Behzad Moshiri received his B.Sc. degree in mechanical engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST) in 1984 and M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in control systems engineering from the University of Manchester, Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST), U.K. in 1987 and 1991 respectively. He joined the school of electrical and computer engineering, university of Tehran in 1992 where he is currently professor of control systems engineering. He was the member of ISA (Canada Branch) in 1991-1992. He was the president of Iranian society of Instrumentation and Control Engineers (ISICE) in 1999-2001. He has been the member of ISIF since 2002 and Senior member of IEEE since 2006. He was the head of Machine Intelligence- Robotics group at school of ECE(For two periods between 1999-2007). He also served as president of Intelligent Systems of Scientific Society of Iran (ISSSI) in 2011-2013. He received the Distinguished Researcher Award from University of Tehran in 2003 and received Distinguished Alumnus Award from IUST in 2004. He also received "Active Participation Award for the Best Poster Presentation" at International Conference on Machine Intelligence (ACIDCA-ICMI-Tunisia) sponsored by IEEE in 2005. Besides, he received "The Best Conference Paper Award" at Canadian Transportation Research Forum, CTRF 2010 for excellent contribution of sensor fusion concept in ITS (June 2010, Toronto, Canada). He is the author/co-author of more than 350 articles including 100 journal papers and 21 book chapters. He was visiting professor at universities of Toronto and Waterloo in 2009-2011. His fields of research include advanced industrial control, advanced instrumentation systems, data fusion theory and feasibility studies on applications and implementations of sensor/data fusion as well as information fusion concepts in areas such as mechatronics, robotics, process control, information technology, bioinformatics and intelligent transportation systems (ITS).
