Brian Cantor is an Emeritus Professor in the Department of Materials at the University of Oxford and a Research Professor in the Brunel Centre for Advanced Solidification Technology at Brunel University. He was previously Vice-Chancellor of the University of York and of Bradford University, Head of Mathematical and Physical Sciences at the University of Oxford, a research scientist and engineer at General Electric Research Labs in the USA, and worked briefly at Banaras Hindu University, Washington State, Northeastern, IISc Bangalore and the Kobe Institute. He founded and built up the World Technology Universities Network, the UK National Science Learning Centre, the Hull-York Medical School, and Oxford’s Begbroke Science Park. He was a long-standing consultant for Alcan, NASA and Rolls-Royce, and editor of Progress in Materials Science. He invented the new field of multicomponent high-entropy alloys and discovered the so-called Cantor alloys.

Prof. Vladimir G. Chigrinov is a Professor at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology since 1999. He is an Expert in Flat Panel Technology in Russia, recognized by the World Technology Evaluation Centre, 1994, and SID Fellow since 2008. He is an author of 6 books, 31 reviews and book chapters, about 320 journal papers, more than 676 Conference presentations, and 121 patents and patent applications including 37 US patents in the field of liquid crystals since 1974. He got Excellent Research Award of HKUST School of Engineering in 2012. He obtained Gold Medal and The Best Award in the Invention & Innovation Awards 2014 held at the Malaysia Technology Expo (MTE) 2014, which was hosted in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on 20-22 Feb 2014. He is a Member of EU Academy of Sciences (EUAS) since July 2017. He got A Slottow Owaki Prize of SID in 2018. He is the 2019 Distinguished Fellow of IETI (International Engineering and Technology Institute). Since 2021 he is Distinguished Fellow of the Institute of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence and Vice President of Institute of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (IDSAI).

Soshu Kirihara is a doctor of engineering and a professor of Joining and Welding Research Institute (JWRI), Osaka University, Japan. In his main investigation “Materials Tectonics” for environmental improvements of “Geotechnology”, multi-dimensional structures were successfully fabricated to modulate energy and materials flows effectively. Ceramic and metal components were fabricated directly by smart additive manufacturing, design and evaluation (Smart MADE) using high power ultraviolet laser lithography. Original stereolithography systems were developed, and new start-up company “SK-Fine” was established through academic-industrial collaboration.

Eliade Stefanescu graduated the Faculty of Electronics, Section of Physicist Engineers, in 1970. He is doctor in Theoretical Physics, Senior Scientist I in Advanced Studies in Physics Center at the Institute of Mathematics of the Romanian Academy, Founding Titular Member of Academy of Romanian Scientists, and member of the American Chemical Society - Division of Physical Chemistry - Subdivision of Energy. He is known for a microscopic theory of open quantum systems, a theory of a tunneling process stimulated by couplings with other particles, the invention and the description of a system converting environmental heat into usable energy, and a unitary relativistic quantum theory.
